Frequently Asked Questions

Dragonwood provides on-site transportation with six-passenger golf carts. However, for your safety, please note that guests are not permitted to operate the carts themselves.

Let us know if you need assistance getting around the property and we will be happy to help.

Is food provided on Adventures?

All adventures that are during a normal meal time will have a meal provided. Additionally, you may request bag lunches to go and/or home cooked meals available for when you return to the homestead. Our meals are optional with adventures.

Is it private?

Privacy is one of our top concerns at Dragonwood. You will feel completely private while on the property. Staff will only arrive at predetermined times, but feel free to call us if you need anything. Staff is 5 minutes away and can arrange whatever you need.

Note: During the summer and fall the crew will be working in the orchard but their day is 8:30 - 3:30 and they will not interfere with your activities or go near the compound.

Will I get cell service?

All major providers have adequate coverage.

How fast is the internet out there?

We use Starlink, and get roughly 120 Mbps Download & 40 Mbps Upload on average.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes! Dragonwood is like a big playpen for dogs—we even have lamp posts with cleanup bags conveniently located around the property.

For the safety of your furry friend, we ask that you keep them leashed if there is any possibility of running off. In the winter, a lost dog can be difficult to find.

If your dog may go into heat while staying with us, please use a leash and diapers to ensure their safety and the safety of other animals on the property.

We want all of our guests to feel welcome and taken care of, so please make sure your dog is well socialized with other people and pets, has proof of rabies, and has been treated for fleas and ticks before visiting.
