Voices, singing bowls, drums, and guitars—each a vessel for sound

On August 16 from 1–3 PM, the woods will transform into a live soundscape for our Listening Trail. This isn’t a show. It’s an invitation to move slowly through the land—letting live music guide your steps.
Live musicians will be tucked into different corners of the forest, each offering a unique sound to those walking the trail. There’s no stage. No rows of chairs. Just the soft rhythm of your footsteps, a breeze through the trees, and music rising from unexpected places.
"As a therapeutic musician I allow my intuition to determine where my fingers will land on my guitar, what words might flow into a lyrical message and how to use the sound and vibration of live music to connect with all life. Live music in a natural setting will connect the listener to the vibration of trees, flowers, birds, and their own inner landscape."– Karen

This isn’t a performance. It’s an experience. One that meets you exactly where you are—mentally, emotionally, and physically. The trail is meant to be walked slowly, even silently, allowing sound to guide the way. It’s about listening, not just hearing.

"I am sharing my panda drum. I believe the notes and the resonance of it will bring the experience of the woods to a deeper level. I am delighted to be invited."– Raven
Guests may hear guitar, voice, drums, chimes, or something else entirely. Some musicians will improvise. Others will play pieces that were written specifically for this setting. Either way, the music is shaped by the land, and by those who walk through it.
Expect a deeply personal encounter with sound, vibration, and breath. As Karen puts it,
“This should be a profoundly meaningful connection between sound, vibration and breathing.”
The Listening Trail is free and open to the public.
Optional add on to the experience is a farm-to-table dinner.
Tickets are $50 per person and must be purchased in
advance, below.
Overnight accommodations are also available —giving you more time to rest, connect, and breathe in the forest air.
The Listening Trail invites you to drop your pace. Breathe slower. Hear deeper.
We’re looking forward to sharing the woods with you.
